I am a voice that cries in the wilderness,
a tree that fell and no one heard.
Languishing in tears that have yet to be shed,
shedding tears for hearts that aren't broken.
Searching for answers to questions not asked,
asking questions that will never be answered.
Turning pages in books that haven't been written,
writing books that will never be read.
Lying to myself while searching for truth,
doubting truth once I find it.
Hoping for things that will never be,
wanting things I will never have.
Setting impossible goals,
dreaming impossible dreams.
I have nothing to say but I say it,
having said that there is no more to say.
